San Diego High School Gets HD Studios

The San Diego Unified School District’s Office of College, Career & Technical Education and TV Magic teamed up on a grant-winning plan to build fully functional HD-broadcast studios at San Diego High School.

The two parties say the studios will provide a real-world application for core academic areas—language arts, sciences, and math—and technical knowledge and project-management skills related to current- and next-generation broadcasting.

The grant money came via California’s Prop. 1D Career Technical Education School Facilities Program.
