ToolsOnAir, Christof Halasz Team Up on LiveCut

LiveCut, a tapeless multicamera workflow system for daily soap productions and near-live events, will debut at NAB.

LiveCut is a collaboration between software maker ToolsOnAir and postproduction supervisor Christof Halasz.

The system records edits in an edit decision list, which is then processed into a multiclip sequence in FinalCut Pro, synchronized, tracklayed, and ready for review and postproduction, while recording up to 16 cameras simultaneously.
