Chyron To Beef Up AXIS

Chyron will add several features to its AXIS online content-creation system this summer.

AXIS allows users with Internet connections to build broadcast-quality news graphics, charts, quotes, maps, and weather.

The summer release will incorporate “Track and Order,” a new library and order-management solution designed to organize and manage media in Chyron’s Distributed Centralization solution.

The AXIS Cloud development platform will allow third-party developers to integrate directly with Track and Order for database-management needs.

Microsoft Virtual Earth satellite imagery was also integrated with the system’s Maps module.
