Media Distributors to Show Off Constellation VCM, Archive Station

Media Distributors will demonstrate its Constellation VCM asset-management system and Archive Station secure storage solution at NAB.
The company says the first Constellation VCM customer is Universal Sports, the 24-hour Olympic Games-related and lifestyle sports network owned jointly by NBC Sports and InterMedia Partners.
The network is using Constellation VCM for deep archival storage of video assets.
Archive Station is designed for both tapeless and tape-based workflows.
