Cisco, Avail Media Join Forces on IPTV

Cisco combined its IP Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) and IPTV platform with Avail Media’s IP-based video service to create a complete IPTV solution for service providers.

The combined solution processes content and television programming and distributes it via satellite to telecommunications companies and their IPTV consumers nationwide.

IPTV services are fully managed through Cisco’s National Control Center, eliminating the need to hire staff for headend management.
