EVS, ARRI Integrate at NAB

EVS Broadcast Equipment’s XT[2] Multicam 10 instant tapeless software release was fully integrated with ARRI Media/NAC Hi-Motion cameras, the two companies announced at NAB.

Live sport operators will now be able to manage all hypermotion functions—including recording, replay, and clipping—directly from the EVS LSM remote controller.

Controls covered by the software include: cue and search using the “mark” and “last cue” keys; record and play controlling the recording and playback in the Hi-Motion system; jog and search using the EVS Jog Dial; use of the “T” bar for high-speed search and off-speed playback; the ability to mark in and out points and save clips in the XT[2], even without controlling a player, while playing on the Hi-Motion; accessible key to switch between the Hi-Motion control on the PGM; and control of “block” recording and playback in the Hi-Motion with cam keys A-D corresponding to blocks 1-4.
