NESN Ratings Bruin in Boston

NESN posted a 9.2 average household rating for the Boston Bruins’ four-game sweep of the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Quarterfinal.

The 9.2, or an average of 221,000 households in the Boston DMA, marks the highest-rated playoff series in the regional sports network’s 25 year history, topping the 8.4 NESN earned during the 2004 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal, also against the Canadiens.
