BIGEAST.tv to Stream Track & Field Championships

BIGEAST.tv, the Big East Conference’s online destination for live and on-demand streaming audio and video, will offer a live stream of the 2009 Big East Outdoor Track & Field Championships from the Villanova University campus May 1-3.

In addition, Wavecam—an aerial remotely controlled camera system used this past basketball season for many Villanova men’s and women’s home games—will be used to provide one of the two camera angles.

Ed Dougherty, an engineering professor at Villanova, invented the patent-pending Wavecam.
