Speed Takes a Drive with Dalet

Speed deployed Dalet Digital Media Systems’ Dalet Enterprise Edition to manage its HD content and production workflows. The Fox Networks Group-owned cable network produces several motorsports programs and specials including Speed Report and Wind Tunnel.

The network’s all-HD material is centrally ingested in DVCPRO HD, using a mix of Omneon ports and IT servers. Program pre-production is done with Dalet desktop editing tools across 125 clients. Shot lists and rough-cut packages are sent to editors who finalize material with Apple Final Cut Pro.
