ESPN2, ESPN360.com to Air MEAC/SWAC Challenge

ESPN Regional Television will air the fifth annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge presented by Disney on ESPN2/ESPN2 HD and ESPN360.com Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. ET. The college-football game features respective conference champions South Carolina State University and Grambling State University, who will meet for the first time since 1994.

ERT says this marks the first time the game will be offered in HD and on ESPN’s broadband digital network.

The annual event—which features teams from the two prominent historically black college/university leagues—will return to Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, FL.
