Comcast SportsNet Bullish on Bulls Playoff Ratings

Comcast SportsNet Chicago totaled nearly 1 million viewers for its coverage of the Chicago Bulls’ first-round NBA Playoffs series against the Boston Celtics, captured by the Celtics in seven games. The regional sports network collected 961,246 for its first-round coverage, including a 6.35 household rating, or some 222,000 Chicago TV homes, for the game-six triple-overtime classic.

CSN Chicago’s final household average for the six games it carried was a 4.59, up 25% from the RSN’s ratings for the previous season’s first-round series against the Miami Heat.
