WSJ Sports Panel to Feature Four League Commissioners

The Wall Street Journal will host a panel discussion on The Future of Sports Wednesday, May 6, beginning at approximately 9 a.m. ET, featuring the commissioners of the National Hockey League (Gary B. Bettman), the National Football League (Roger Goodell), Major League Baseball (Allan H. [Bud] Selig), and the National Basketball Association (David J. Stern).

The panel will focus on the business of sports, including the challenges and opportunities the leagues face in the current economic climate, issues of competition, and matters that are important to fans. It will be hosted by Robert Thomson, editor in chief of Dow Jones and WSJ managing editor, and moderated by WSJ sports editor Sam Walker.

The Future of Sports will be Webcast live on WSJ.com and FOXSports.com.
