Eco Broadcast Solutions Acquires NMT Mobile Units

LDM Worldwide has purchased several National Mobile Television mobile
units, to be operated under Eco Broadcast Solutions, LLC. The Units, NMT’s DX-5
and DX-16, will be renamed to Eco 1 and Eco 2, respectively.

Larry Meyer, owner of LDM Worldwide and part owner of Eco Broadcast
Solutions, brokered the deal involving Corplex, Sweetwater Productions, and
Little River Production Group. Meyer felt that bringing several parties
together to purchase the large quantity of assets that was NMT was the most
sensible solution.
At an auction held by Wachovia these companies purchased the following
NMT assets:
Eco Broadcast: DX-5, DX-6 & DX-17 Corplex: DX-9, DX-18, A-35, Dallas, Orlando, New
Jersey, and LA Field shops Little River Production Group: DX-6 Sweetwater Productions: Side-by-side mobile unit
“With Eco 1 and Eco 2, LDM Worldwide is able to provide a less expensive
option for clients to produce quality standard definition shows,” Meyer says.
“We are also excited to provide the trucks for those clients that are not able
to complete a full HD production transition because of the current financial
crunch. LDM is looking forward to servicing the marketplace with Eco 1 and Eco
2.”
LDM Worldwide packages productions and supplies television crews
domestically and internationally. The company’s current clients include CBS
College Sports, Sports Net New York, Setanta, Fox Australia, ESPN, NFL Network,
The Alliance, Trio, and NCP.
