QuStream Routes Routing Wares to InfoComm 2009

QuStream will use InfoComm 2009 to showcase its range of PESA routing equipment, with several new products in the routing, fiber, and control spaces enabling the delivery of full-motion HD video.

The company’s QFX DL-DVI allows DVI and 3G signals to be extended over copper or fiber. The media extenders allow long-distance video transport of DVI, VGA, RGB, and RGBHV signals up to 1920×1200@60Hz over a single copper or fiber interface cable.

QuStream’s QFX Quadbox fiber extender allows copper-to-fiber conversion, supporting up to four SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signals utilizing a 3Gbps optical transport per fiber port.

And its PESA Tiger PRO Router—a modular fiber-optic switch system for Pro-AV and 3G-SDI applications—is expandable in sizes from 36×36 up to 144×144 in the same 4RU frame and is fully compatible with the new QFX Series of fiber media extenders for dual link DVI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI.
