Broadcast Pix Gears Up for InfoComm 09

Broadcast Pix will bring its 3G Switcher Frame (an upgrade for its Slate G Series of live video-production systems), Fluent workflow software, a traditional control panel for Slate 100 users, and a portable production unit to InfoComm 09.

The company says the 3G Switcher Frame will help it to future-proof its systems with the 1080p standard already found in TV sets, routers, monitors, computers, projectors, and cameras. It is native 3-gbps 1080p/60 and provides simultaneous multidefinition SDI I/O for 1080p, 1080i, 720p, and standard-definition, as well as DVI.

Broadcast Pix adds that the new Slate 100 control panel provides entry-level users with a traditional switcher interface.

InfoComm 09 runs June 17-19 in Orlando, FL.
