Daktronics to Light Up Allen Event Center

The Allen Event Center in Allen, TX—which will have 8,600 seats (6,225 for hockey), 26 suites, and two ice rinks when it is completed later this year and host concerts, trade shows, professional sporting events (including a Central Hockey League franchise), festivals, and community ceremonies—will feature custom video, scoring, and sound equipment from Daktronics.

The arena will feature two endwall displays measuring approximately 12 feet high by 16 feet wide running on Daktronics 10-millimeter LED technology, as well as more than 890 linear feet of full color, digital LED display along the fascia.

Daktronics will also install a new custom sound system, custom LED scoreboards, hockey goal lights, LED locker room clocks, and LED game timers/shot clocks.

And a marquee display featuring Daktronics HD-12 LED video-display technology and measuring approximately 9 feet by 15 feet will welcome fans to the Allen Event Center and advertise upcoming events.
