Gefen Releases4x4 Matrix for HDMI v1.3 Switcher

Gefen Monday released its new matrix switcher, which was upgraded to handle the HDMI v1.3 format with cross-point capability. The company says the 4×4 Matrix for HDMI v1.3 offers HDCP compliance and support for all HDMI v1.3 features including deep color.

The switcher supports HD video resolutions to 1080p full HD, as well as multichannel digital audio, and it handles features including lip sync, DTS-HD, Master Audio, and Dolby True HD.
