Datmedia to Deploy ViewCast Niagara Streaming-Media Gear

Datmedia will use ViewCast’s Niagara rack-mount Niagara 2100 and portable Niagara GoStream SURF streaming-media appliances to power its DatpresenterV2 Internet-TV-programming service.

The ViewCast gear will enable Datmedia to provide its customers with an easy-to-use online service for customizable live streaming and video-on-demand content delivery for applications including education, training, and corporate marketing.

ViewCast says the Niagara SCX control and management software and software-development kit provides Datmedia with seamless integration between its DatpresenterV2 platform and the Niagara streaming-appliance platform, with the flexibility to customize features. And the Niagara SCX software enables Datmedia to manage its Niagara streaming-media infrastructure via an intuitive desktop interface, with the ability to control and monitor each individual stream.
