PGA Tour Productions Tees Up Vizrt Viz Ardome

PGA Tour Productions will use Vizrt’s Viz Ardome media-asset-management software—which includes capabilities for ingest and playout, transcoding, browsing, and craft editing—to manage its HD and standard-definition content.

Viz Ardome’s open Web service APIs will allow the Dixon Sports Logger to be a tightly integrated component within the PGA Tour MAM system, and Viz Ardome is also integrated with third-party vendors such as Avid and EVS.

Viz Ardome users also have the ability to browse growing files, allowing them to start working with low-resolution proxy versions of the video files, while the high-resolution material is being ingested.
