CBS, CBS College Sports Take Baton at NCAA Championships

CBS Sports and CBS College Sports Network will present live coverage of the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday from Fayetteville, AR. This marks the fourth consecutive year of coverage by the programmer.
CBS will be on-air live Saturday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. ET, when the team champions will be crowned. Highlights include the men’s and women’s 200-, 400- and 800-meter finals and the men’s and women’s 4×400 relay.
CBS College Sports’s Friday coverage will air from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. and feature the men’s and women’s 100-meter final and the men’s and women’s 5,000 meters.
The action will be called by CBS Sports’ Ian Eagle, 1976 NCAA outdoor high-jump champion Dwight Stones, 1983 and 1985 NCAA outdoor long-jump champion Carol Lewis, and 1995 and 1996 NCAA champion Ato Boldon.
