MultiDyne to Debut HDMI-ONE Fiber Link

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will use InfoComm 2009 in Orlando, FL, June 14-19 to debut its HDMI-ONE, a low-cost HDMI and DVI fiber link with HDCP copyright-protection support, which offers bidirectional communication over ONE fiber for full HDCP copyright and EDID functionality.

The company says the fully uncompressed HDMI or DVI-D signal is transported over ONE fiber supporting WUXGA up to 1920×1200, and it is 100% transparent, with no frame dropping.

MultiDyne added that the HDMI-ONE includes external power supplies and a USB power port, or a free USB port can be used from the video source to power the HDMI-ONE transmitter, and a USB port on the monitor can power the HDMI-ONE receiver, eliminating the need for two external power supplies.

In other MultiDyne news, the company named public-relations firm D. Pagan Communications as its agency of record. DPC will handle all strategic media-relations and trade-show-support activities.
