MultiDyne Debuts HD-Multi-Link Solution

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will use InfoComm 2009 in Orlando, FL, to debut its HD-Multi-Link solution, designed for the drop and repeat optical distribution of SDI and HD-SDI TV signals on a single-mode fiber-optic cable.

The company says-Multi-Link is fully compatible with SMPTE compliant HD-SDI products such as its HD-1500 and HD-3000 HD-SDI fiber-optic links, and it is available in a 3-gigabyte version and a 1.5 GB version.

HD-Multi-Link can be used for production monitoring and distribution; announcer booth, event, press, pool, and stadium house feeds; campus distribution; and applications that require the optical drop and repeat of HD-SDI with HDMI-monitoring capability.
