NBA Finals Maintains Ratings Momentum

Game four of the NBA Finals continued the series’s ratings roll, as the Los Angeles Lakers’s 99-91 overtime victory over the host Orlando Magic was the most-watched game four since 2004 and the most-viewed program of the night in primetime.
Thursday night’s game averaged 15.957 million viewers for ABC, up 16% compared with game four between the Boston Celtics and Lakers last season and up 61% versus game four two years ago, which featured the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.
The game earned a 9.4 household rating, up 8% over last year and up 45% over two years ago.
