MultiDyne Fires SilverBULLET at InfoComm

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems was busy at InfoComm 2009 in Orlando, FL, introducing its SilverBULLET Mini 3G HD/SDI fiber optic link, a two-part transceiver/receiver solution designed for the transmission of SDI and HD-SDI TV signals over a single-mode fiber-optic cable, as well as its HD-Multi-Link solution (previously reported), designed for the drop-and-repeat optical distribution of SDI and HD-SDI TV signals on a single-mode fiber-optic cable.
The SilverBULLET, at three inches in length, is ideal for a wide variety of pro A/V and broadcast applications, including video production and editing, electronic newsgathering, sports teleproduction, field production, remote camera links, cross-campus production, pre-fibered venues, and courtesy feeds, the company says.
The SilverBULLET provides a typical link distance of up to 18.6 miles (30 kilometers), MultiDyne adds.
