CSN Chicago: One Cubs Game, One White Sox Game

Comcast SportsNet Chicago is warming up for the second round of the “Crosstown Classic” interleague match-up between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. The regional sports network will air the first game of the series from U.S. Cellular Field Friday at 3:05 p.m. as a Cubs game, and the third and final game Sunday at 1:05 p.m. as a White Sox game.

Former White Sox great Frank Thomas will rejoin CSN for the games, along with former Cub and current CSN baseball contributor Doug Glanville, CSN White Sox studio analyst Bill Melton, CSN Cubs studio analyst Todd Hollandsworth, and host Pat Boyle. The network will air extended pregame and postgame shows, with team reports and player interviews by Gail Fischer, Chuck Garfien, and Luke Stuckmeyer.

And CSNChicago.com will feature videos of postgame press conferences from White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and Cubs manager Lou Piniella; White Sox/Cubs team blog updates from Garfien and Stuckmeyer (including a section for fan e-mails); series-preview features from Cubs announcer Len Kasper, Melton, and Hollandsworth; a behind-the-scenes photo gallery from U.S. Cellular Field; and Twitter updates from Garfien and Stuckmeyer.
