Orad Releases Graphic Plug-In for Final Cut Pro

Orad rolled out the new graphic plug-in for its Final Cut Pro editing tool, which will allow broadcasters to integrate graphics created to work in real-time with existing post-production environments, helping them to maintain the same graphic look, feel, and interface across different platforms.

The company says its plug-in for FCP connects to Maestro’s database, where all graphic templates are published, and allows for browsing or searching for templates, filling in data, or retrieving data from external data sources. It also enables users to drag and drop graphics into FCP’s timeline; to preview them while scratching through the timeline, including entered data and animations; and to render the effect locally, without additional hardware.
