Broadcast Pix Gets Kicks from Allsvenskan Swedish Football League

The daily news conferences by each of the 16 teams in the Allsvenskan Swedish Football League will be produced in HD by the league’s Onside TV Production unit using Slate integrated production systems from Broadcast Pix. As part of the project, small, unmanned HD studios will be installed in stadiums across the country, monitored and managed by a centralized control room.

When the project wraps later this fall, in time for next spring’s 2010 season, Onside will have a total of 17 Broadcast Pix Slate G 1000h integrated production systems in place: 16 in stadiums across Sweden and one in the main control room at Onside’s offices in Stockholm.

Each on-site studio will be equipped with two Sony BRC-Z700 HD robotic cameras, as well as LED lighting and audio, which can be controlled remotely through the Slate. Someone local will have to turn on the power, but the rest of the production will be handled by off-site staff.
