Versus to Air 16 NBA D-League Games

Versus plans to air 16 NBA Development League games this season, including six playoff games.  The first regular season broadcast will be at 11 p.m. on Jan. 16.

According to the Associated Press, this could just be the first step in an attempt by Versus owner Comcast to eventually bid for the NBA television rights when the current ESPN/ABC and Turner Sports contracts expire.
