Tennis Channel Files FCC Complaint Against Comcast
Story Highlights
Tennis Channel has filed a program carriage rule complaint with the FCC against Comcast accusing the cable provider of discriminating against the network in favor of its own cable channels, Versus and Golf Channel.
According to Multichannel News, the complaint accuses Comcast of unfairly locking Tennis Channel into a sports tier that reaches 2.6 million subscribers at $5 per month, while Comcast-owned Versus and Golf Channel are available to nearly all of the cable carrier’s 23.8 million subscribers.
