The Studio at B&H Paves Way for NFL.com to Stream Super Bowl Media Day Live

NFL.com will, for the first time ever, offer live streaming video of every player interview and press conference at Super Bowl XLIV Media Day on Tuesday, Feb. 2 in Miami.  In order to pull this off, NFL.com turned to The Studio – B&H in hopes of creating a technology solution that would allow every second of Media Day to be streamed online.

The Studio – B&H worked with the NFL to develop a solution that would allow NFL.com to record and stream both video and audio live from the 12 podiums at Sun Life Stadium. In addition, The Studio’s engineers provided in-depth testing of the solution in their showroom to insure it would function at the Super Bowl’s sometimes chaotic press event. In the end, The Studio provided a working solution that allowed NFL.com to capture the action of Media Day without being lost in the sea of media that looks to invade the stadium this week.

“There’s press all the way down the line – it’s a wall of people pressed in front of each podium. [The NFL] needed a way to be able to collect video and audio of the interviewees for streaming and recording without getting in the way of that,” says Michael Elias, senior account executive for B&H corporate sales. “So we provided a solution for that –everything from cameras to mics and supporting equipment.”

Players and coaches will take the stage at the 12 different podiums this Tuesday in preparation for the big game this Sunday. To see all of Tuesday’s live interviews, click here.
