Panasonic Goes Deep for Angels of Anaheim Fans in the Stands
The Los Angeles Angels 2010 campaign will include an upgrade of Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the latest Panasonic display technologies to further enhance the fan experience.
Panasonic worked with Angels’ executive and facility management to devise an upgrade plan to implement and deliver a new audio visual experience. Most of the installation took place during the 2009 season without interruption to fans’ viewing enjoyment. In all, 350 Panasonic HD plasma and LCD displays were installed to provide fans with spectacular views of games and promotional messaging throughout the ballpark. A state-of-the-art 20mm Large Screen LED board, measuring approximately 35’H x 47’W is also included in the display system to deliver breathtaking images on the team’s iconic Big A message board which sits adjacent to the 57 Freeway and has an annual traffic count of over 84 million cars that pass by.
