Sportvision Names Steve Zoppi as Chief Technology Officer

Sportvision has named Steve Zoppi as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  Zoppi will be responsible for advancing Sportvision’s innovative data collection, management, analysis, and presentation capabilities.

Zoppi brings over 30 years of technology leadership experience to the Sportvision executive team from a diverse group of established companies, including TiVo, Adobe, Hotwire and Electronics for Imaging.  Zoppi is the principal advisor and founder of Collabri Group, LLC, a research and advisory services firm, where his expertise and services have covered many disciplines in the technology business, including product and system development, software engineering, information systems management, and operations management.

As Sportvision’s CTO, Zoppi will direct the Company’s R&D initiatives and overall technology development.

Today, Zoppi serves on numerous advisory boards for emerging technology companies and associations, including FastScale Technology (recently acquired by EMC) and the Consortium of Information Systems Management, Silicon Valley.  Zoppi also co-authored the book, CIO Wisdom: Best Practices from Silicon Valley’s Leading IT Experts.
