NBC Universal Sports and Olympics Promotes Sawyer to Director, Program Integration

Rob Sawyer has been promoted to Director, Program Integration, NBC Universal Sports & Olympics. The announcement was made today by Jon Miller, Executive Vice President, NBC Sports and Mike McCarley, Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Promotions and Communications, NBC Universal Sports and Olympics.
In his new position, Sawyer oversees integration into NBC Sports and Olympics broadcasts to better manage advertiser relationships and maximize revenue while maintaining the consistency of the NBC Sports brand.  He is the principal liaison between league partners and NBC Sports’ sales and production teams, managing the development and implementation of advertising and sponsorships, including commercial formats and advertising enhancements. Sawyer will continue to report to Miller on programming (schedules, operations, affiliates) and McCarley on integration (production, promotion, sales, digital).
Sawyer was previously the Manager, Programming and Digital Marketing, NBC Sports from April 2006 to March 2010. Sawyer is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and currently resides in Forest Hills, NY with his family.
