Theaters Showing Final Four in 3D Announced

Cinedigm Digital Cinema has revealed about half of the 100 theaters that will be simulcasting the NCAA Final Four in 3D this weekend. The theater chain, which also broadcast the 2010 BCS national championship game and the NBA All-Star Saturday events in 3D, currently lists more than 50 locations that will project the 3D feed of the games provided by CBS.

Theaters in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington are listed, with more theaters to be added this week. Ticket prices for the event vary, but some are expected to charge as much as $25 per ticket.

The semifinals will take place Saturday, April 3 from 6-11 p.m. ET while the championship game will be on Monday, April 5 from 9-11 p.m. ET.
