Before joining the Golf Channel, Knapp spent four years as the director of Olympic sales at NBC’s Television Stations Division in New York. Prior to NBC, he served as an account executive at CBS Spot Sales. He also has five years of experience as an account executive at the New York office of Harrington, Righter and Parsons, Inc., an independent television rep firm.

Knapp graduated from the Ohio University School of Telecommunications where he earned his degree in broadcast management. He currently resides in Orlando with his wife of 18 years and their three children.
