IBC 2010: Orad To Release WorldMapper Vizualization Tool

Orad Hi-Tec Systems will release its new WorldMapper solution at IBC 2010 (booth 7.B27). WorldMapper is an intuitive, up to date, maps visualization tool with access to Microsoft’s ‘Bing’.

WorldMapper provides unlimited access to Microsoft’s ‘Bing’ worldwide maps. The maps offer detailed resolution of up to 4.5 pixels per meter (0.2 m per pixel) and provide high image results. The maps come with three different styles: aerial maps, hybrid – aerial informational maps, and road maps.

Orad’s WorldMapper solution comes with editing and compositing capabilities enabling the user to add text explanation, icons and images, change the maps and labeled locations, and zoom in to street level resolution, using a sophisticated time line.

WorldMapper provides the user with a fully rendered, high quality video clip, ready to use and broadcast in any platform which supports standard video formats. WorldMapper’s video encoding engine enables the user to choose the desired video format, the codec, clip size, bitrate, aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9) and customize their codec configuration. HD format is also supported as a Matroska (mkv file) high quality video. Using Orad HDVG rendering abilities and multi video format support, the user can make a WorldMapper clip and broadcast it via Orad’s controllers in a matter of minutes.
