IBC 2010: Orad To Intro After Effect Plug-in

At IBC 2010, Orad will introduce AE-GFX Manager, a plug-in that manages graphics-rendering and -cueing tasks for Adobe’s After Effect compositing application.

Until now, operators have had to physically sit at an After Effects application and manually change any text or image and render it repeatedly for every “bug,” graphic, or promo used. With AE-GFX Manager, operators can easily convert an After Effect project into a template, send a text/image parameter, or ingest a new text or image directly from AE-GFX Manager and send it for automatic rendering.

The new plug-in allows many tasks to be handled and rendered simultaneously from a single After Effect license. In addition, as soon as the final clip is rendered as a full or partial frame with or without alpha, it can be played in real time from Orad’s clip player.

AE-GFX Manager will be on display at IBC booth 7.B27.
