Arctek to Showcase Newest Uplink Truck at SATCON
Story Highlights
Arctek will showcase its newest satellite truck at Satcon next week in New York City on Onct. 13-14. Arctek Purple is the next generation C-Band Sprinter, adding Mpeg 4 HD encoding as well as Mpeg 2, DVBS and DVBS2 modulation. This latest design in 2.4-meter C-Band antennas includes automatic wing deployment, which eliminates the need for the operator to spend time on manual installation.
ARCTEK Purple features a 46-inch LED monitor fed by an 8-input multi-viewer, bit stream analyzer, complete test loops, and AES and DOLBY E audio decoders. As with all ARCTEK trucks, ARCTEK Purple is equipped with a fully redundant transmission path with Adtec EN80 HD encoders that feed the 750-watt hub, mounted fail-safe HPA’s and Miteq upconverters.
ARCTEK Purple is available for immediate bookings.
