CBS Sports Releases BlackBerry App

CBS Sports Mobile has launched a new application for BlackBerry smartphones. The free CBS Sports BlackBerry app will provide scores and coverage for NFL, College Football, MLB, NBA, College Basketball, NHL, Golf, Tennis, and Auto Racing. The CBS Sports BlackBerry app will also provide access to Fantasy football and baseball news and updates.

The CBS Sports BlackBerry app opens to display the current day’s scoreboard and can be personalized to only show the sports each user is most interested in. Users can then toggle through all major professional and collegiate sports, with each sport immediately featuring a scoreboard at the top of each section. Additional news and content for each sport, including NFL updates from the CBSSports.com RapidReports network is also available.

The CBS Sports BlackBerry app is supported by all BlackBerry devices, from the 8300 series and above.

BlackBerry users can download the app by visiting the BlackBerry App World on their handset and searching for “CBS Sports.” Additionally, users can download the app by entering the following address in a BlackBerry browser: www.cbssports.com/allsportsbbapp
