At the AES Convention in San Francisco on Nov. 6, the DTV Audio Group will meet to discuss real-time and same-day production in native 5.1 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PT. The session will review infrastructure challenges and share some strategic thinking on 5.1 acquisition and quick-turn editing for for News and Sports. The program will include an update on loudness and lip sync issues and the education committee will report on the on-line loudness management tutorial. The event will be sponsored by DTS and Linear Acoustic.
