CSP Gears Up for Latest HD Truck To Hit the Road

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome CSP Mobile Productions as its newest mobile/integrator sponsor. Based in Maine, the premiere, full-service remote video and audio mobile-production provider operates an SDI 16×9 digital-audio truck and a 53-ft. video-production truck, with a 53-ft. expando unit set to hit the road in January.

“SVG offers us a level of exposure that we simply haven’t had in the past,” says Len Chase, President/Co-owner, CSP Mobile Productions. “SVG reaches clients that we may not have a direct contact with otherwise. Through SVG, we can now reach a whole new group of [customers], and [it] opens up a lot of doors for us.”

CSP has handled a host of sports productions, including several throughout New England. This season, the New England Patriots tapped the company’s HD3 truck to handle in-house production for Gillette Stadium’s brand-new Daktronics HD LED displays. In addition, CSP trucks have helped produce several Ivy League football telecasts this season for Versus as well as a variety of away feeds for NHL and NBA telecasts throughout the Northeast.

HD1, CSP’s second HD truck and first 53-ft. expando, is scheduled to roll out at the 2011 tip off. “We’re very excited for [HD1],” says Chase. “It’s going to be a great addition for us.”
