Philippine Shift to Digital TV Seen Completed by 2015

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that the Philippine government is confident it can meet the 2015 deadline to complete the country’s shift to digital broadcast technology. In a statement, the National Telecommunications Commission said it was recently given the green light to create a technical working group to finalize the rules covering digital broadcasts using the ISDB-T system.
