3D Biz Report: CES Is Coming as 3DTV Gets Big…Really Big

The latest edition of the 3D Biz Report arrives as CES 2011 kicks off in Las Vegas this week. Several major consumer electronics companies will unveil their latest 3D offerings at the show, including the world’s largest LED 3DTV from LG. The 72-inch LZ9700 is illuminated by a full panel of LEDs behind the screen and features all the latest bells and whistles. If six feet of 3D isn’t enough, you can opt for a professional 3D TV like the Panasonic TH103VX200.  At 103 inches (or 8 ½ feet), it will run you $65,000.

In case you missed last week’s podcast, the 3D Biz Report brought news that glasses-free 3DTVs are now on sale in Japan. Toshiba’s glasses-free TVs feature nine viewing angles and a resolution of 466×350.
