D-Backs To Install Two New Daktronics LED Displays at Chase Field

The Arizona Diamondbacks have selected Daktronics to design, manufacture, and install two large new LED displays at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. Each new video display will measure approximately 36 feet high by 20 feet wide and show team lineups and advertisements.

“We have had such positive feedback from our fans about our Daktronics displays,” says Derrick Hall, President and CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks. “With these new additions, we truly have enhanced the fan experience for people attending games at Chase Field.”

This display will be added to the current list of video technology at Chase Field, including one of the world’s largest HD big screen displays installed in 2008. The 136-foot-wide, 46-foot-high display has the capability to display two HD 16:9 images side by side. A ribbon display mounted to the second deck of seating, running from left to right field, was installed in 2006. Daktronics Audio division updated the ballpark’s sound system later that year, and Daktronics also installed the main scoreboard behind centerfield in 1998.
