Stagetec USA Opens East Coast Office

Get out your skinny jeans, plaid shirts, and wool caps. Stagetec is the latest techno-hipster to move into Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg neighborhood.

The German console manufacturer’s first New York City office opened in late January at 500 Driggs Ave, Ste. 502, near the Bedford Ave. subway station on the L line. The 1,100-sq.-ft. office will handle regional sales and has a showroom and training space equipped with AURUS and CRESCENDO audio-mixing consoles and several NEXUS router systems. Stagetec USA President Rusty Waite says the space is configured for one-on-one or group training for all three platforms.

“Having our systems this close to the biggest market for broadcast and theater in the U.S. was important to us,” says Waite, “and offers the ability for potential and existing customers to come by for a demo and/or training.”

Waite says in particular that the facility will be an opportunity to familiarize A1 sports-broadcast mixers with the company’s digital-console work surfaces.
