NBA.com, NBA Mobile Carry Stream of Success into Playoffs

NBA.com saw increased growth for video streams and page views during its first week of coverage of the 2011 NBA Playoffs. More than 114 million videos were viewed during the first week, an increase of 93-percent from last year’s coverage. More than 7 million average daily uniques during the first week, an increase of 69-percent from 2010. More than 344 million page views were viewed, an increase of 32-percent from last year’s coverage.

NBA Mobile has also experienced boosts. NBA GameTime App downloads delivered an 86% increase across all platforms from last year.

This comes following a solid regular season, in which NBA.com set all-time records for video streams and page views with more than 1.94 billion videos, an increase of more than 140- percent from last year. In addition, the site received 5.9 billion page views, an increase of more than 35-percent.
