Tightrope Media Systems Releases ZEPLAY 2.0

Tightrope Media Systems has released a firmware upgrade to ZEPLAY, their instant replay server designed exclusively for live sports production.

With its exit from beta status, the 2.0 firmware features a built-in highlight editor with dynamic control and push/skip capabilities, external file import with Final Cut and AVID round-trip support, cross-faded switching on both sequence and replays, and built-in clip editing with match frame and multi-angle editing tools designed for fast operation during a live production.

ZEPLAY is able to export, import, and edit while maintaining symmetrical instant replay of four camera angles, which play out to both the TD and the operator. The 2.0 firmware has already seen hundreds of hours of live testing in the field.
