Signiant and Applied Electronics To Host Thought Leadership Forum

Signiant and Applied Electronics are hosting a Thought Leadership Forum titled “File-Based Workflows for the Digital Age” this Thursday, Sept. 29. The forum will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Corus Quay, located at 25 Dockside Drive in Toronto.

“For broadcast, media, and entertainment companies, ‘going digital’ and ‘content everywhere’ initiatives are forcing a transition from linear content distribution to an exciting new world of electronic sell-through, video on demand, and multiplatform delivery,” said Robert Browne, Signiant’s founder and vice president of business development. “At this forum, our panel of industry experts will describe how to bring it all together to succeed in the digital age, through open, scalable platforms for essential digital media transformation that enable distributed content supply chains, and create new opportunities to monetize services.”

Led by Browne, the panel discussion will focus on how media professionals can capitalize on new and evolving opportunities in the market by expanding global collaboration and partnerships that enable the seamless exchange of content outside the enterprise. All of the related challenges — and associated opportunities — will be addressed.

Panelists of the Thought Leadership Forum include Rob Adams, Rogers Media; Jamsheed Ahmed, Rogers Communications; Chris Bell, Astral Television Networks; Neal Bilow, Corus Entertainment; Julie Dutrisac, National Film Board; Greg Hull, Deluxe Postproduction; and Tim Napoleon, AllDigital.

The Thought Leadership Forum is open to all broadcast, media, and entertainment professionals. Registration and other information is available at www.signiant.com/forum-invite.
