I-MOVIX to Release New SprintCam Software

This December I-MOVIX will release its latest software for the SprintCam Vvs HD camera system, promising new enhancements that the company says will allow operators to become more efficient.

The company says the new operational enhancements will be noticeable in all four components of the system: the camera, CCU, OCP, and slow-motion remote. Among the enhancements are availability of two return video inputs (in addition to the live and replay outputs), improved lens control, wider operating temperature range of the camera, improved synchronization procedure for replays, and more. Image quality enhancements include availability of Rec 709, SMPTE-C, NTSC, and EBU matrix presets as well as matching presets with other cameras and flare compensation.
