Australian Harvey Norman Fined A$1.25m by the Federal Court for 3DTV Ads

www.theaustrialian.com.au reports that in an action brought by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to the court in Brisbane, Federal Court Justice Berna Collier described Harvey Norman’s conduct as “seriously misleading and deceptive, on a significant and far-reaching scale” in a judgement against the iconic retailer.

Seems that selling 3DTVs in areas without 3DTV programming is frowned upon.
